1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Cantuum ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Cantuum is a music discovery and listening application built on the Lens protocol. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Cantuum provides a decentralized music experience that allows you to discover, stream, and collect music published on Lens by artists; use features such as Lens Radio and your Library (including Collected Songs); connect a wallet to tip artists and manage funds; and interact with content and other users in accordance with the Lens protocol and these terms.
3. Eligibility and Wallet
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use the App. Use of wallet connection, tips, and other on-chain features may be subject to applicable laws. You are responsible for the security of your wallet and any transactions you authorize. Cantuum does not custody your funds or private keys.
4. User Conduct
You agree to use Cantuum only for lawful purposes and in line with our Community Guidelines. You may not use the App to harass others, distribute illegal or infringing content, circumvent security or access controls, or misuse the Lens protocol or third-party services that Cantuum relies on.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
Music and other content available on Cantuum are published by creators on the Lens protocol. Ownership and rights to that content remain with the creators and applicable licensors. By uploading or publishing content via Cantuum, you represent that you have the rights to do so. Cantuum does not claim ownership of user-generated or creator content.
6. Third-Party Services and Lens
Cantuum depends on the Lens protocol, blockchain networks, RPC providers, and other third-party services. We do not control these services. Availability, accuracy, and policies of third parties are outside our control. Your use of wallet and on-chain actions is subject to the terms and risks of those networks and services.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of content, or that the App will be error-free. Streaming, tipping, and other actions may depend on third-party infrastructure and on-chain conditions.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cantuum and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or use, arising from your use of the App or any third-party services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Cantuum in the twelve months preceding the claim, if any (and in many cases you will have paid nothing).
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the App.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or discontinue access to the App or certain features for any reason, including violation of these terms or our Guidelines. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive termination.
